Marketer

The network consists of three tiers of membership structured to meet the needs of the small businesses of San Antonio. This membership offers the following items:

Single Access Point

SASBN members have access to a single access point for marketing services.

Directory Listing & Profile Page

All members of SASBN have a profile listed within the SASBN Directory. The directory is accessible through the main SASBN website. Your profile will be listed within the appropriate category of the directory. The profile itself is a personalized webpage that displays essential information of your business. Below are the profile features included for members of the “Marketer” tier.

  • Highlighted Listing
  • Contact Information
  • Services Offered: A listing of the services offered by your business.
  • About / History: A description of your business’s history and notable recognitions.
  • Photo Gallery w/ Photo Shoot
  • (: 60) Promo Video w/ Shoot
  • Comment Box: Your customers will be able to provide feedback on your business for others to see.
  • Google Map Application: Fully interactive Google Map that provides your customers with the location of your business and driving directions.
  • Image Gallery: The gallery allows potential customers a visual representation of your business and products. Pull customers in with images that appeal to your customer’s visual senses.
  • Viral Video: With your help, we will produce a short viral video that allows you to deliver information to your customers about your business.
  • 2 Additional Content Modules: Use these modules to provide additional content and/or material about your business. Recommended are Twitter Feeds, Facebook Badges and Widgets, Special Promotions, etc.

Business Cards

Members of the “Marketer” tier receive 1000 business cards after enrollment. Our design team provides two proposed designs along with two revisions. The design does not include logo creation. The logo and all business card content is provided by the member. Cards are printed on 14PT Card Stock, with the option for High-Gloss UV Coating or Matte finish. Substitutions for business cards are accepted, however restrictions apply. Please see an SASBN Representative for more information.

Enhanced Online Presence

SASBN utilizes various tools to enhance the Online Presence of your profile. These tools help by improving the organic search results for your business’s name and profile. The tools include the following:

  • Web Submissions: We submit your website to both Google and Yahoo, the top two search engines on the Internet for indexing. This allows your site a higher probability of being listed and visited by interested users.
  • Creation of a Google Local Business Center Account: You create it. We'll help you use it. Your business can benefit tremendously from the various tools and services that Google’s Business Center has to offer. Click Here to learn more about the Local Google Business Center.
  • Social Media: Tools like Twitter and Facebook have both proven to be very effective Social Medias for advertising and awareness campaigns. We utilize such tools to announce new members of SASBN, news updates from our current members, event updates, and more.
  • Flickr and YouTube: SASBN employs the use of tools like Flickr and YouTube to provide additional means of content distribution. Customers can view your business's video through some of the most visited websites in the world. This enables your business’s content to exist in a variety of locations online, thus increasing your business’s web presence.
  • SASBN Listing: You get listed in the SASBN website, where users and other businesses can find your profile quickly and conveniently.
  • E-mail Marketing: We send e-newsletters every month to all of our Registered Users announcing new businesses, current and upcoming events, and more.

Complimentary Calendar Postings & Email Blasts

Members of the “Marketer” tier are allowed 12 Complimentary Calendar Posting within the main SASBN events calendar. Members may use these postings to promote various events, promotions, etc. for your business. In addition, members also receive 12 E-mail Blasts to SASBN Registered Users, for additional promotional purposes.

Calendar Postings and E-mail Blasts are posted and sent by SASBN Staff, but the member provides the content. All 12 Calendar Postings and E-mail Blasts should be used within a 12-month period. Please contact an SASBN Representative for more information.

Feature Article

Members of the “Marketer” tier receive a Feature Article written about their business. Articles are written by SASBN Staff, average about 500 words, and are published on the SASBN Website.


AdSpace

After enrollment, “Marketer” level members enjoy a 30-day revolving ad within SASBN AdSpace. Your ad is placed within a banner on one or more *High-Traffic Webpages of the SASBN website.

*High-Traffic Webpages are pages that, according to our site analytics, are visited more frequently than others. Although the rate of visits a page receives may be the most significant factor, other factors such as business category, page content, target market and others are used. Ultimately, SASBN Staff determines the location of your ad


Social Media Acknowledgement

To help promote your business, SASBN submits a welcoming post within both the SASBN Facebook Fan Page and Twitter Feeds. Members and/or Fans are able to post messages on our Facebook Fan Page or “Mention-Tweet” SASBN on Twitter, but SASBN Staff have the authority to filter such content.

(Please Note: SASBN Staff monitor and filter content posted. SASBN reports all inappropriate postings.)


Invitation to SASBN Events

SASBN will hold a variety of events throughout the year ranging from workshops, seminars, and conferences to mixers, luncheons, and other networking events. All members receive invitation and priority attendance to such SASBN functions.

Exclusive Member Access

In addition to SASBN Events, members of the network also receive access to the following:

  • Member-to-Member Discounts
  • Members Only Online Resources
  • Members Only Discussions and Forums
  • Members Only Events and Functions

SASBN Blog

The SASBN Blogs center is a great place for members to share information about themselves, their business, and other experiences with the rest of the network. As a member, you may post blogs on topics of your own choosing.

Paid Referral Program

Members of the “Marketer” tier can receive up to $50 for referring other businesses to join the network. Use the list below to see how you can receive paid referrals.

  • Receive $50 for every “Marketer” you refer..
  • Receive $25 for every “Connected” you refer.
  • Receive $10 for every “Delegates” you refer.

Referral will be paid out once the new member’s payment has been submitted and processed for enrollment.


Web Host Services and Domain Name Registration:

Choose a domain name for your business profile or website and we will register it for one year. You can choose from .com, .net, .org, etc.

We provide one year of web hosting that includes: profile upload, up to 10 e-mail accounts and server side support.

If you choose to have a website designed for your business, you may use the domain name you’ve selected, however, you must continue to maintain an SASBN profile page.
